TSKA Exotics has three very specific mammal interests of which we are endeavouring to try and raise societies of recognition within the United Kingdom for keepers of the species so that these societies may assist with the political voice being heard for these exotics.
Whilst it may well not be TSKA Exotics that actually creates and generates the actual societies themselves we will try to raise interest from exotics keepers for them.
There are many societies aimed at other areas of the exotics industry, but for these three species there are none.
A fourth society may well be looked at in the future and this will be for exotic mammals as a whole. But in reality we would like to think that NAPAK could reemerge after its absence and take the lead for exotic keepers' again
TSKA Exotics do try and raise awareness to both keepers and the opposition that we above all other sellers do take these species politics and the legislation very seriously with various issues and topics raised.
Primates, we do take very seriously as a species that the opposition including the RSPCA would like to see prohibited in the hands of private keepers and restrict their ownership to parks, zoos and educational facilities only.
We try and raise awareness to various issues such as husbandry, political awareness, responsible ownership and of course the rights of the keeper but more importantly the rights of the animals themselves maintained within captive collections.
Currently our focus within this page for the societies is to be seen to addressing primates:
