TSKA work on behalf of our client base.
We work for our client base as advertisers and arrange the transaction for them on their behalf in many cases, but all responsibility for the species themselves rest with the owners - sellers/buyers.
Buyers must be a minimum of 18 years of age. This is a precedent laid down by TSKA Exotics Consultancy.
Buyers of animals covered by Dangerous Wild Animals' Licensing and Public Liability Insurance, must be able to produce copies of these for our clients, and will be asked by TSKA Exotics to verify that they are holding valid copies of both pieces of legislation. Some of the animals displayed in these lists require quarantining upon arrival in the United Kingdom.
We can offer assistance in the protocol and procedure behind self quarantine.
We do ask of all potential buyers to ensure that they are able to display within our questionnaires that they have taken a serious step in commitment towards the purchase of their exotic species. We do request that where a form is required to be completed that potential buyers please adhere to our request.
Failure to complete a form where requested will result in a termination of any sale.
General Knowledge
Buyers should ensure that they have done their research on the species they are looking to purchase. Our forms do ask questions relevant to the buyers' research. Lack of research could very easily end your application.
We request each applicant to provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself as prompted by our questionnaire. If you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, or TSKA Exotics has reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, TSKA Exotics has the right to suspend or terminate the sale, transaction, purchase, cease supply and refuse you any and all current or future use of our services.
TSKA Exotics do endeavour to provide care guides but these are only to be used as a guide line, or as an initial stage into the study of your chosen species, many of the guides are written by our clients, and the style they have written it will reflect their own personal experiences of the husbandry of the species themselves. But we can not stress enough to potential buyers that they must do as much research as they can.
We provide the care guides as part of our consultancy service to you, the buyer/seller.
Age

When a buyer places an order for an advert, the buyer must agree to the terms and conditions displayed below.
All buyers must be in a position to correctly house the species they seek to purchase.
In the case of species listed under The Dangerous Wild Animals' Licence, a copy of this will be required by our clients in addition to a copy of the buyers current Public Liability Insurance. Licensing
TSKA Exotics can advise potential buyers on whether species are covered by Licensing or permits [article tens within the United Kingdom or import permits], but we can not and do not apply for these for the buyer. Our advertising will inform each browser at a glance whether species are covered by The Dangerous Wild Animals Licensing and Public Liability, as indeed do they display whether species covered by article tens have those present or not.
Our forms do request that you present copies of your licence numbers and public liability insurance id's for our viewing and this is done so that we can inform the client that the buyer/s are indeed covered by the right and correct legislation.
Please note that buyers should remember to bring with them during a purchase of a licensed animal, the copies if not originals of the licensing they are covered by to present to the client. Also a previous copy of a DWA licence is required in the case of some of the larger species.
